NIU needs a lead at half, have played too well to not have one. Only thing Toledo has beat them at has been rebounding.

This is NOT good. We can’t play any better than that, and, we have only a 2 point lead. Still, we played a great half, now, we just have to do it again.

Huskie Dave, Toledo can’t play any better either and let this sink in Toledo only has one foul against them for a half. That’s unreal! NIU has been a top 25 in the nation team shooting field goal percentage all season. Also for 3 quarters of the season they were a top 15 shooting team.

Three straight foul calls went against the Huskies. Poor Lacey James — he seems to frequently get godawful foul calls made against him. Today and Monday against Ohio.

The screen foul was a bad one but other than that, it's not like NIU is fouling a lot... 6 in a half is not many.
NIU didn't drive it to draw fouls, they shot which makes sense.

Terrific half by both teams.
Another perspective is that any lead is a GOOD thing when only a couple players showed up in the first half.
If those missing in the first, show up in the second, things can get better.
TURDledo played over its head in the first half as well.
Should be a good second half.
