also Today vs. Toledo, at 1 p.m., also a "bobblehead game" for the first 1,000 fans, and "Cram the Convo". A "Legacy Celebration" will be held at halftime to recognize the contributions and accomplishments of Huskie women student-athlete alumnae from the pre-Title IX era (1961-1981).

Unbelievable! We got here before noon and parking lot was filled. Lines waiting to get tickets and to enter the Convo. Then lines to get the bobbleheads.
Think Athletics will learn from this? I doubt it. Probably no more bobbleheads, and I will be back to being the first in the parking lot again.

Right now, definitely a bigger crowd than usual. Looks like a men’s game crowd here now.

Seems like some people might have got a bobblehead and then left to sell it on eBay or something. There are more people than usual but not that many more.

Yes, you may be right. There were lots of people getting the bobbleheads. The lines were a bit long. I had a feeling that all those people were not there for the women’s game. But they still had to buy a ticket. Yet the crowd was definitely bigger.
You had to have a ticket and pick up the bobblehead in person. You could not pick up one for someone else even if you had their ticket and even if they were somewhere else in the Convo.
Great win, but my heart is still beating fast!

Good crowd for men's game. Not huge but easily bigger than usual. If they could win it would help a lot. Tall order though. BG is definitely good.

Completely agree. The thought about eBay selling crossed my mind when I got to the Convo at noon and there were hundreds of cars in the lot - one hour before tipoff. Then when I saw the long lines at the ticket windows and waiting for the Convo to open, I should have known something was up. A-holes.

What I have seen on these promo deals in ballparks is that dealers will have their kids start buying them from fans. If a dealer had 11 of them listed on Ebay, he/she was probably falling that pattern.

In this case, I think people just bought the $5 general admission tickets. Just like buying the bobbleheads for $5 and selling them for $35 + postage.
