Rice men's basketball vs Western Kentucky - Fort Bend Owl - 02-07-2019 06:33 PM
Could be a fun game - I like the t-shirt giveaways (it's white out night in Tudor). Now the athletic department is tweeting out that James Harden might be there. That should help bring out a few students.
And by the way, it's an 8 pm start because of TV.

Man, the refs in Texas are terrible. People say CUSA is bad, but the refs I saw at the ODU were fine. These refs are all over the place, and letting WKU get away with lots of moving picks.
All things considered, not bad. But they're going to have to hope that WKU stops making 3-pointers.

Rice had a foul to give. Someone else should have given a foul elsewhere on the floor to keep QMB from trying to cover that guard. Don't want QMB giving that foul.
But considering the early hole they had, not too bad. 42-44 at halftime.

QMB doing a great job on Bassey on both ends. Peterson moving well and then not getting a good look. Still needs to work on finishing

Western Kentucky beat Wisconsin(!) earlier this year. The Badgers had a lot of problems trying to contain Bassey.
This will be a good win if we can get it. I'm liking what I'm seeing from Pera.
