DOJ under Obama spied on a CBS reporter, hacking her computer. They have stonewalled for years in her lawsuit. She is suing Eric Holder and the FBI.

Interesting read on the walls the government puts up against being sued.

I wonder if even CBS will cover this. They clearly aren't paying her expenses.

"A federal appeals court recently heard oral arguments in my lawsuit against former Attorney General Eric Holder, unnamed “John Doe” federal agents at the FBI and Justice Department, and others. At issue are the intrusions into my computers while I worked as an investigative reporter for CBS News, revealed by multiple forensic investigations showing use of proprietary government surveillance programs.

It was clear early on that the Justice Department was not interested in investigating or prosecuting its own. So I began the search to find the facts about the invasion into my computers and life. That morphed into a lawsuit for damages, because that’s what the law sets out as the legal remedy...."

Now you know why the FBI has been so brash with Congress. The litigation to get them to budge takes longer than the term limits.

It all started with the Homeland Security Act and has been embellished since. Everyone needs to acquire a copy of that document, long as it is, and actually read it, and if possible get a buddy who is an attorney to read it with you. It is the document that initiated a police state inasmuch as it covers culpability.

And please note, I'm not dismissing the whole HSA, but like so many bills it had so very much buried in it.
