Penny has focused on improving the Tiger's toughness and effort since the Houston game. He praised ECU in those areas.

That is the easiest change to notice for the pirates. As a player I would love to play for Dooley. Lots of energy and push in their game, maximum effort required to see the floor.
Gardner being a smaller player overachieving in the post on talent, smarts, and an engine will only help instill those things over the next 3+ years for his teammates.

Hoping for a good showing from the Pirates tonight. Beating Memphis used to seem impossible back in the C-USA days, but we've fared pretty well against the Tigers in recent years.

Soooooo.
I am not so excited about tonights game.
We suck playing at Tulsa. And Frankly we just suck on the road. If we can go 5-4 in conference on the road I'll be happy and call it a success. Just protect home court, and having a winning record on the road and I'm happy. But winning 5 games on the road for this team seems like an impossible task.
Also, were supposed to get multiple inches of snow on Saturday night against UCONN... Very big chance UC fans don't show up to this game like they normally would.
