Seabass pulled a hamstring trying to kick a 57 yarder right before the half. RE: Ty Long released from CFL contract to pursue NFL opportunity - the_blazerman - 01-07-2019 09:46 AM Worst case he gets re-signed by CFL. I didn't realize that those under contract by the CFL couldn't already pursue NFL teams. RE: Ty Long released from CFL contract to pursue NFL opportunity - dragondrummer - 01-15-2019 12:14 PM Looks like he got signed by the Chargers.
RE: Ty Long released from CFL contract to pursue NFL opportunity - the_blazerman - 01-15-2019 08:49 PM Do the Chargers need a kicker? I haven't a clue. Not even sure if the Chargers season is over yet but I'm thinking they might have lost this last weekend. Very few positions for kickers. Would he be a punter and/or kicker? Seemed like he did everything up at BC. RE: Ty Long released from CFL contract to pursue NFL opportunity - blazers9911 - 01-15-2019 09:27 PM Most teams have a punter and kicker. It’s highly unlikely he would do anything more than kickoffs and fgs/XP’s. If Ty can back up the other guy, then you won't have the problem the Seahawks did when Janikowski pulled a hamstring. They tried the punter in the role of FG kicker, but he was baaaad. |
