UAB women's basketball team hit 18 3-pointers, which is a new team record. The previous record was 17, against UTEP last year. UAB's 86-61 win puts them at 10-1 on the season. They will play FGCU in Fort Myers tomorrow at 6 pm.

The women's team beat FGCU to win the Hilton Garden Inn Classic in a true road game tonight 62-60. UAB is now 11-1 on the season. FGCU is now 9-3 this season. UAB's next game is a home game against UAH on December 30th at 2 PM, the final non-conference game.

The UAH AD E.J. Brophy may come in for this game since he is a UAB alumnus (played baseball) and his wife Cindy was a Golden Girl (as were her two younger sisters Jenny & Holly).
