A lot to say. It was a roller coaster ride yesterday. About 20 of us close family and friends there. We were sky high for the game. He talked his way back in and gave it all he had. It hurt taking the snaps and he couldn’t raise the ball as high as he normally does on his throws. In the family and friends reception room we waited for an hour and he was the last to come out. Norv and Scott Turner came over to us and said how tough Taylor was. Christian McCaffery came over to us and said that Taylor is their guy and “there is a lot we have to fix on this team but Taylor is not one of them.” We took Taylor out to dinner and he was in pretty good spirits and was on pain killers and was hopeful to play in New Orleans. He woke up today in tremendous pain and it looks doubtful will play. We will know for sure Wednesday or Thursday. Luckily no other structural damage. They are bringing back Garrett Gilbert in case he can’t go. If he is a go I will be there Sorry for any typos because on a plane.

Sad but TH is probably done in imo. Guys not named Russell Wilson or Drew Brees just dont last in the NFL.

Sad news but you're probably right. If the NFL gig doesn't work out for him there are a couple new leagues debuting in 2019 and 2020.

Just got done watching the coaches film. Thought he played better than it read by following play by play. Made some really good downfield throws (comebacks, deep Ins). The pass blocking was pretty bad and unfortunately, Taylor got some happy feet as a result.
Thought there were a couple misscommunications where he throught it was a bad shoulder throw. Underthrew some guys deep. The first INT was a bad decision, but the ball was tipped as well. The 2nd one was simply him staring down a receiver. 3rd one was just trying to make a play and his WR didn't help him out at all. Showed some good scrambling ability that we are used to seeing. But, more often than not, he was running for his life.

I went to New River Taphouse (awesome spot off pleasurehouse rd) and watched the entire game. The Panthers O-line is complete garbage. Taylor had no time when he dropped back. He needs a chance where he actually has a line that can block. Would love to see what he could do in Pittsburgh.

While we all love TH, the reality is that the League may be perceiving him as too brittle/fragile for the everyday violence of the NFL. Man, I hope I’m wrong.

Unfortunately I don't think you're wrong at all. Perhaps it's time for Taylor to enter into a less dangerous profession. He had the chance to live every kids dream. That's more than most of us get.

I think it was Tom Brady that said all QB's should wear one of those braces on their left knee from blindside hits, just as a precaution, for righties. I wonder if you don't see a trend of those + left elbow braces just as a cautionary move.
