It was really only one ref who was horrendous. He literally missed a charge right in front of him and one of the other refs had to run in from the baseline and call it.

Yep. I remember that. Pathetic

my fave was bone picking up his dribble in the front court

clearly establishes pivot foot

gets double teamed

creates new pivot foot

passes out of double team

right in front of the ref and ut bench

Lots of bad calls to choose from, the game was just too fast for them or the bias to great.

We didn’t lose because of the officiating but it was one of the worst called games I’ve ever seen.

Yep.

We might’ve won if the officiating had been even and consistently called.

Sounds like the same quote from the UCF football game.

You see that kind of stuff in every game. They hardly ever call guards for travel or double dribble any more. Now, you let a big do a hard ball fake at the top of the key and its an automatic travel even if, clearly, neither foot moved.

RE: Who are these people? - holyterror - 12-16-2018 12:14 PM

If you don’t whistle a eurostep, you’ve got no business whistling any other traveling call. That’s blatant, and frequently done alone, in the open court for all to clearly see.

The state of officiating on all levels and in multiple sports is really lame.
In Tulane’s bowl game yesterday their RB spun without touching the ground. He was not whistled down. He ran 20 yards toward an easy score. Then the whistle blew. Then the refs reviewed it. Keystone cops worthy.
(Steps off soapbox)

Bone basically carries the ball every possession. Yes, he's quick, but when they allow him to carry the ball, he becomes even harder to defend.
