There is an e-mail and a Will Call option on the tickets. All the seats are General Admission. $15 seats for the lower bowl & $10 for the upper section. My tickets were sent immediately to my phone.
The VBC is built for hockey, so pick your poison on your sight line.
Getting there - from I-565 take the Jefferson Street exit south into downtown. Go 2 blocks & turn right on Clinton. Go 2 blocks & turn left on Church. Turn right into the parking deck upper floor. The stairwell to your West is 100 yards from the Arena front entrance. Pedestrian traffic from the arena does not impede the upper level parking deck entrance from Church Street.
From 231 South / Memorial Parkway - Exit at Governors to the right. Make your first left on Monroe. Park in the Public Library parking lot, or go through the round about and park in the Aquatic Center parking lot if there is no rain. It is a 250 yard walk to the Arena.
Or continue strait ahead and park in the parking deck. But know that you're going to spend 30 minutes waiting to get out of that thing after the game.
OR
From 231-431 North -exit the parkway and turn right on Clinton. Turn right and get in line for traffic to turn right.
I cannot commit to a pregame meal due to work schedules and planning errors on my part. But I'll be happy to provide recommendations.
There are lots of great options down town for dining.
Pane E Vino, The Bottle, Ruth's Chris, Taco Mama, Cajun Steamer, Keegan's, Below the Radar, etc.
I'll be finding something at the Arena. The VBC got a big redesign about 3-4 years ago. I assume (hope) they will have the craft beer stand open. There are several dining options in the arena too. BBQ nachos & McAlisters to go along with the standard fare of pizza, nachos, chicken fingers & hot dogs.
