FIU @ Charlotte - Fish - 11-17-2018 12:54 PM FIU travels to Charlotte to take on the Niners. FIU still controls their own destiny in C-USA East. I'm nervous about this one as Charlotte seems to have a very stout defense. Charlotte has given FIU all kinds of problems the last two times the teams have met, as FIU required 4th quarter comebacks to win both games. Kickoff: 2pm ET TV: ESPN3 Line: FIU -4 Go Panthers! RE: FIU @ Charlotte - Fish - 11-17-2018 02:11 PM This looks like the FAU game. Charlotte runs all over FIU and goes up 7-0 early in the 1st. RE: FIU @ Charlotte - Fish - 11-17-2018 02:21 PM FIU drive dies in red zone after a drop. Ugh. 7-3. RE: FIU @ Charlotte - Fish - 11-17-2018 02:28 PM Charlotte's Klugh with a late hit after FIU's Sage Lewis scoops up a fumble for a TD. Lewis is hurt and slow to get up. Lewis is the leading tackler in C-USA I believe. Ugh. RE: FIU @ Charlotte - Fish - 11-17-2018 02:34 PM Dirty play by Klugh with the horse-collar tackle in the end zone? https://twitter.com/ConferenceUSA/status/1063877659116036096 RE: FIU @ Charlotte - Fish - 11-17-2018 02:45 PM Charlotte with 147 rushing yards in the 1st quarter, averaging 8.2 yards per carry. FIU's run D is ..... really bad. RE: FIU @ Charlotte - Fish - 11-17-2018 02:58 PM Charlotte takes the 14-13 lead. RE: FIU @ Charlotte - Fish - 11-17-2018 03:15 PM FIU answers and retakes the lead 20-14. I can see this is a very popular game here. I'm a bigger Charlotte fan today than all Charlotte fams combined. RE: FIU @ Charlotte - Fish - 11-17-2018 03:54 PM Sorry MT fans, FIU scores a TD to start the second half after some beautiful play calling. FIU leads 27-14. RE: FIU @ Charlotte - Fish - 11-17-2018 03:58 PM Also, I have to point out: only a couple of months after suffering gunshot wounds to his face, Anthony Jones just walked into the end zone for a TD. What a special moment for that young man. So happy he's healthy, let alone healthy enough start at RB and play football this year. Congrats, Anthony! RE: FIU @ Charlotte - Fish - 11-17-2018 04:14 PM Charlotte answers and cuts the FIU lead to 27-21. RE: FIU @ Charlotte - wh49er - 11-17-2018 04:19 PM Tucker could be a star in this league, just hope we can keep him when the new coach is hired. He's made some great plays today. RE: FIU @ Charlotte - Fish - 11-17-2018 04:27 PM FIU scores another TD and gets the 2-point conversion. FIU leads 35-21 early in the 4th quarter. RE: FIU @ Charlotte - Fish - 11-17-2018 05:08 PM FIU recovers Charlotte's onside kick and that should do it. Man, Klugh killed us on the ground. RE: FIU @ Charlotte - jaminniner - 11-17-2018 06:03 PM Hopefully this was Brad Lambert’s last game on the sideline. RE: FIU @ Charlotte - Nugget49er - 11-17-2018 07:14 PM This is probably Lambert's last time on our sideline, but he will be coaching in Boca next Saturday. Afterwards, I expect a gentlemanly meeting on the following Monday morning where Hill thanks him for all he has done, and wishes him the best of luck in his next job. I am sure everyone involved knows what is coming. RE: FIU @ Charlotte - ghostofclt! - 11-17-2018 08:49 PM clt says the weather was great. Literally no hurricanes! |
