FIU travels to Charlotte to take on the Niners. FIU still controls their own destiny in C-USA East. I'm nervous about this one as Charlotte seems to have a very stout defense. Charlotte has given FIU all kinds of problems the last two times the teams have met, as FIU required 4th quarter comebacks to win both games.

Charlotte's Klugh with a late hit after FIU's Sage Lewis scoops up a fumble for a TD. Lewis is hurt and slow to get up. Lewis is the leading tackler in C-USA I believe. Ugh.

Also, I have to point out: only a couple of months after suffering gunshot wounds to his face, Anthony Jones just walked into the end zone for a TD. What a special moment for that young man. So happy he's healthy, let alone healthy enough start at RB and play football this year. Congrats, Anthony!

This is probably Lambert's last time on our sideline, but he will be coaching in Boca next Saturday. Afterwards, I expect a gentlemanly meeting on the following Monday morning where Hill thanks him for all he has done, and wishes him the best of luck in his next job. I am sure everyone involved knows what is coming.
