I also would prefer to get UTSA at home, just from a revenge standpoint.
But if we end up in second (and we damn-well BETTER beat Charlotte next Saturday), then getting both UNT and WKU at home and USM as our other road game would not be a bad alternative.

Agreed. Richmond has been super patient with him but they haven't been to the NCAAs since that 2011 Sweet 16 run and they've been flaming hot garbage the past two seasons. He seems like a good guy and they were consistently good for a while, but the bottom's fallen out and I don't think he can get them back even to respectability, much less the NCAAs. Wish him well in his future endeavors, let him try to rejuvenate his career as a low-major head/mid-major assistant coach, and find someone to turn things around.
In essence he's Jeff Jones but with one much better season and a couple of much worse ones.

The emergence of VCU killed that program. Yeah, UR is a much better school, but VCU is a much better atmosphere for basketball. UR no longer has the better conference argument. I think Mooney is a solid coach and I think he will do well wherever he wins up. UR will be a tough situation for anyone.

Rick Stansbury (WKU) having back surgery tomorrow. I guess most of us were aware he had been out for 2 games but doing this with 2 games left and before the start of Pod Play is somewhat surprising.

And D. Buckingham leaving hurt them just as much. They lost most of their stud returners before this one got started. I was actually surprised how much of a game they were able to make the matchup with ODU where they were still leading late in the game.
Plus Mooney makes more than $1 mil per year, I believe. That's a tough situation over there.

This UTSA vs USM game is hard to watch. Announcing is awful, offense is undisciplined, and defense is non-existent for both teams. Makes you appreciate ODU’s defense.
