More contract extensions - HuskieBowWow - 11-05-2018 09:38 PM

I saw it somwhere this morning and now I can’t find it. In addition to Carey, STF extended contracts for almost all the head coaches including Carlsen. I held my breath while looking for Monty’s name and thankfully didn’t see it. Anyone have a link to this announcement?

The announcement is buried somewhere in a time capsule under the Convo Lot concrete. Don't ask questions about STF, hush, no questioning please.

We will see it in nine months.

He made the announcement in his literal newsletter. Go read it. God you conspiracy theorists are lame as hell.

Adrian Myers - cross country deserves an extension.

RE: More contract extensions - 17Huskies - 11-05-2018 11:35 PM

Frazier's Corner basically tells the Star and some of you to 'F off, get over it, move on, nothing to see here'. Even says they can have more public releases going forward.

Sounds like Frazier heard from a few people.
I am glad he at least told us about these.

Frazier has one hot temper. If you question him or provide your viewpoint he loses it. He just puts fans at such a low level. Fans are pond scum to him

Quote:I love seeing all the hard work put in by our Huskie Football team show up as wins on the scoreboard, led by Head Coach Rod Carey, who earned his 50th win as NIU head coach last week at Akron and is now one of the 20 winningest coaches all-time in the MAC. Rod's .649 winning percentage as a head coach – all at NIU – rank him 28th among all active Football Bowl Subdivision coaches with at least five seasons coached, just ahead of Kansas State legend Bill Snyder.

Need to fire that dude ASAP

And for the record, his .649 winning percentage is easily the highest of any 50 win coach in history.

Carey: .649
Fletcher: 601
Evans: .592
Novak: .453

And for the haters and losers, if you take out the games QB'd by Lynch, his .603 winning percentage would still be the highest of all 4 of those coaches.

And for those of you who say he was handed a ready to win program, so was Lester at WMU and he proceeded to go 6-6 in his first year and has given up 110 points in his last two games.

Lester also took over a job sitting on 3 of the highest rated recruiting classes in the history of the conference to build on. Went 6-6. Why? One, he Didn’t have a qb. Two, you don’t just roll the ball out there and say go play boys.

For sure. The whole comment is insanity. MD has gone back to his misery days. The good (fake) MD was short lived and the real one has now come back. Someone explain how to block him again?

Frazier has been nothing but kind and welcoming whenever I've talked to him. I suppose he might get frustrated if some nut job gets in his face with a baseless viewpoint and asks him why we can't be more like Toledo.

Not sure about that, but never ever ask him about football on Saturdays

Well you’re in the minority with that opinion

Probably shouldn't bother but you realize that is a conference decision not a school one right? As long as we are in the MAC it will be that way. I'm sure he sees the issue, but his hands are tied.

STF has absolutely no control over the weekday games. That is a conference decision and a conference contract with ESPN.

EMU played CMU last Saturday and plays Akron this Saturday.
