You guys may have been 0-23, but we had only won 1 fbs that year ourselves. All things considered Mcgee's last year is not in our memories. It feels like breaking up with a bad ex girlfriend. You don't think about it ever.

Yeah I went to our game in 2012 and thought that it wasn't a bad crowd for a team that hadn't won a game.

S.Miss is not a very good offensive team and UAB is looking like the best defense in CUSA....
but this is my upset of the week and if it happens I look for UAB to finish the season 0-3

I knew UAB had some “age” because of the reinstatement process but I didn’t realize their quarterback was 24! One of several. Hell Nick Mullens graduated two years ago and will be starting MNF this week and he’s 23...

The years of the shut down did not count for eligibility. The guys we recruited in 2014/15 had their clock stopped until 2017. So yes, they got older. More than a few of those rehabbed injuries or their academics during that time.

I would venture to say most USM fans feel like we dont have a real "rival" right now.
You will have some say La Tech, some will say Marshall, and others will say UAB. None of these games really ignite the fan base on a yearly basis.

Yeah, if our Offense was a match to our Defense you'd see thousands (including me, driving down from middle TN), but we expect to be pummeled because our O matches up so poorly with your D. I feel like our D can match your O, but your defense will likely score and very likely give your offense great starting position several times in the game.
I hope that our team does to your season what your team did to our 2011 season :)
