TCU was tight with OU at the half, but the Sooners have imposed their will since the break.
#20 Cincinnati struggling on offense at 4-3 Temple. 17-10; most of the action in the 4th has been from the punters. The last three kicks have all been over 50 yards, including a 72 yard bomb by Cinci's Australian import.
Woeful Rutgers having a strong showing at Northwestern.

It was tied with 7:00 left in the game, but LaTech scored on a 43-yd run. The Wing T naked bootleg on 4th & 1 caught UTEP completely off guard. LaTech by 7 right now.

They definitely put up a better performance than we have at any point since Hawai'i. Up against the wall, they moved the ball and were a real threat to tie it up at the end. We haven't done that since just before halftime against Houston.

I'll run the numbers in the morning, but I believe that, on my system at least, UTEP has moved out of the "worst team in the past 30 years."

I'll be interested to know how this year's Rice team fits in those rankings. They have played not terribly well at times...

Wild finish in Bowling Green tonight. WKU tries a Hail Mary, and ODU gets flagged for a personal foul. This gives WKU an untimed down that they deem close enough to try a long FG. The kick lands well short, but ODU gets flagged again, this time for 12 on the field. WKU tries the long kick and come up short again. ODU has a returner back for this one. He runs it all the way back to the WKU 15 where the Hilltoppers finally force him out of bounds, and there's another flag. This one is a facemask by WKU, giving ODU a chance to kick the chip shot on their own untimed down. Monarchs win by 3.
