This might have been posted before figured it was worth passing on. The article rates the best Rb born in each state. Wolfe #1 for Illinois and Turner mentioned as #2. In case you wonder, Red Grange was born in Pennsylvania. I think the next closest Illinois Rb is Mike Alstott from Joliet before playing at Purdue. Nice honor for 2 Huskies.

Good find and thanks for sharing. Both were awesome and every time they touched the ball it was possible to take it to the house or at least a big gain! Both also had good games against P5 teams so there is no debate that they were great because of "weak" defenses.

Watching Wolfe play was great. Every time he got the ball I felt like something big was about to happen. He had such pure talent, skill, and heart. I remember reading about how he popped his shoulder back in against Michigan in the huddle and just kept playing.

Really it was amazing how good he was. Always made something happen and you are absolutely correct that you always expected something great to happen

We were damn lucky with great players. Turner, Wolfe, Harnish, Lynch. All were playmakers that could break any play. Great players.

Wolfe is still my favorite player, he was so fun to watch.

Never forget Wolfe putting on a show at #1 Ohio St. 285 offensive yards. NIU beats #1 Ohio St in 2015 if Wolfe was teleported from 2006.

We beat a lot of teams if Wolfe plays. OSU is just one of them.
