I'm excited for this game. I certainly hope that we win. But I like the heart of this team and want mostly for them to play to their potential .... which they have done for the last two weeks. They have the talent and the heart, and now they just need to get some even breaks.
I really respect how this team hangs together and fights. So, I hope they let it fly and have a great game that we can say --- that's our team! Go Monarchs. My (homer) prediction:

Yes we need to take care of all phases of the game today to come away with a win. Very importantly Opening holes for the run game, Keeping their run game in check and not letting them convert 3rd and longs.

It would be great if we could run as well.
FAU can pass, but save for an anomalous performance vs Air Force, would normally rather run.
We must slow their run and try to contain the pass.

Temple was expected to be good but started slow. ECU is shooting themselves and the QB played awful.

We are 1-4 and the record indicates just how bad this team is as well as how bad VT is! Who cares if we win or lose or if we play well or not? I hope we win but expect to lose and doesn't bother me one way or the other. Our coaching staff is high high school level at best, we still can't and NEVER have been able to tackle on defense, OL is weak and can't block, QB is inconsistent, do I need to go on? You "homers" can get all excited about this team if you want to but it is a waste of your time and effort! But then again if this team excites you, you'll probably enjoy this game...we may jus be able to pull this one off.

VT was more of them coming in super confident and us playing really motivated as per ECU they are trash and so are we it seems.
