This is a tough prediction this week. Yes Ball State is banged up but they have the ability to put up a lot of points . If we get down early, our offense might not be able to keep up. Hope our defense is locked in . We’re going to need them. I need to see some offensive consistency to give our Huskies the advantage.

Huskies go back to their nitty gritty like they did in the EMU game and continue to establish the running game by dominating on the line. I liked what I saw from our OL and TEs in the run-block category against EMU...

On the Score this morning, a guest who was providing some gambling advice named Panayotovich said that BSU qb is going to have a field day against out D and will be personally responsible for at least 4 TD's. Go Huskies, make him eat crow!

We are more susceptible to the pass, but that is over the top. Neal has only had 1 game with 4 or more TDs, the last game against Kent St. He had 3 TDs against might Central Conn.!

SS and company are going to be in Neal's face all day! My concern is that Neal runs well, so our guys need to stay in their rush lanes so Neal does not beat us with his legs.

Agree on his running ...Guy is 6' 6" also... Yikes!
When was the last time we had a decent QB over 6' 2"?

The defense gets 3 turnovers but Three And Out University strikes again to leave the defense high and dry. Harbs does get 20 carries but Ball State will not allow Harbs to run the middle dives with the extra man keying on him, limiting him to 70 yards and a TD. Childers does throw two TD passes off turnovers but it won't be enough to overcome 6 three and outs that give Ball State plenty of oppotunities to find sequences that work against our defense. Hopefully, our offensive staff will do something to take advantage of Ball State's emphasis on the Harbison runs, but my confidence isn't high on the coaching staff that has led us to the second (third?) worst offense in the nation...

HUskies get back to basics, establish the run with Harbison, CHilders continues a gradual improvement and completes 60% of passes including a couple of long ones.

That would be great and I'd love to see both. I get the sense that if he gets more confidence he could play much looser and we would be successful opening up the O.
