MSNBC Freaks Out That 'Deluded' Trump Supporters Refuse to Desert Him - usmbacker - 08-29-2018 06:42 PM Priceless.... ![]() Quote:A panel on MSNBC's "MTP Daily" appeared to panic on Monday after reviewing President Donald Trump's approval rating — which stayed the same — despite the negative news that broke last week about Paul Manafort and Michael Cohen. RE: MSNBC Freaks Out That 'Deluded' Trump Supporters Refuse to Desert Him - VA49er - 08-29-2018 07:04 PM They have no idea that THEY are one of the reasons Trump supporters refuse to desert him. They'll never learn. RE: MSNBC Freaks Out That 'Deluded' Trump Supporters Refuse to Desert Him - TigerBlue4Ever - 08-29-2018 07:43 PM Their arrogance has blinded them and their inability to escape their echo chambers has deafened them to logic and reason. In reality they are literally wind up puppets whose sole function is to disseminate the lefts daily talking points and keep the base riled up. RE: MSNBC Freaks Out That 'Deluded' Trump Supporters Refuse to Desert Him - Kronke - 08-29-2018 07:49 PM I can't see katy tur anymore without immediately thinking, "Go on, try getting it out. I don't know if you're going to put this on television, but you don't even know what you're talking about." bahahahahaha RE: MSNBC Freaks Out That 'Deluded' Trump Supporters Refuse to Desert Him - Hambone10 - 08-29-2018 08:06 PM They don't understand that words are often just words... and policies are what matter. Their people talk a good game but accomplish nothing. People like Trump talk a horrible game, but accomplish a lot. It's business vs politics..... and they can't understand it I HATE Trump's talk... but I don't hate it more than I love the economy or my own interests. I fashion myself as someone who is vastly less cut-throat than Trump, but similarly skilled at negotiations... so I am by definition not as successful as he is... but people generally will like me more. It's a trade-off. If hiring a lawyer, Do you want a nice guy who wins 50% of the time, or someone everyone hates that wins all the time? I'll take the latter... though he won't be my friend. We like his policies (they are working) and I'm about to the point that I'll support whomever the media doesn't because I find that's generally more in my best interests. These clowns can go eff off........ RE: MSNBC Freaks Out That 'Deluded' Trump Supporters Refuse to Desert Him - dfarr - 08-29-2018 08:42 PM I didn’t vote for Trump. I didn’t like his personality and don’t think he’s a great representative for our country. However, I couldn’t care less that his campaign manager got busted for tax evasion or whatever from 2004 or that he didn’t bow down at the altar of McCain. I like his tax cuts. I don’t like his spending. I like his freeing of businesses and lessening regulations. I’m not a fan of his tariffs or his subsidies. I like the fact that he loves America, which is more than I can say for anyone in the left. RE: MSNBC Freaks Out That 'Deluded' Trump Supporters Refuse to Desert Him - CardFan1 - 08-29-2018 10:37 PM The Left thinks We don't understand what's going on. Actually the Left are the ones that don't understand what's going on. We have no problem the direction the country is going under Trump. RE: MSNBC Freaks Out That 'Deluded' Trump Supporters Refuse to Desert Him - Hambone10 - 08-29-2018 11:59 PM How the President acts doesn't impact how I treat other people. The idea that it does is stupid. Policies do impact me I don't give a damn if people in other countries 'judge' me by Trump's tweets. That just makes them bigger fools than they think I am RE: MSNBC Freaks Out That 'Deluded' Trump Supporters Refuse to Desert Him - Owl 69/70/75 - 08-30-2018 12:26 AM (08-29-2018 11:59 PM)Hambone10 Wrote: How the President acts doesn't impact how I treat other people. The idea that it does is stupid. I really don't understand all that sort of stuff. So I don't care much about it. I thought Bill Clinton was an excellent president, overall. Not a paragon of virtue, not someone I would want to emulate, certainly not someone I would want my son to emulate. But we hired him to do a job, and he did a pretty good one. Would have been better if he had gotten Osama when he had the chance, but going after him would probably have just triggered more "Wag the Dog" comments from republicans. Actually, if republicans had been willing to work with him instead of go nuts over Monicagate, I think we could have gotten a lot of good things done. For example, I think we could have passed something pretty close to Bismarck health care and been spared the cluster flock that is Obamacare. I really thought that he and Newt could have reprised the old Ike/LBJ/Mister Sam bourbon and branch at 5 o'clock sessions and run the country. Hell, they could have even swapped women's phone numbers. Newt's taste in that area was a lot better than Bill's. If you go back to posts at the time of the election, I think you'll find that I was hoping for Hillary with republican majorities in both houses of congress. I thought that might be able to become Bill's third term, which was fine with me. I just didn't see how it could happen. Right now I prefer gridlock to either party's agenda. Right now, Trump is what is standing between me and the likes of Schumer, Pelosi, Bernie, Fauxcohontas, and Ocasio-Cortez. In that case, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. And not much understanding of what is going on within the DC swamp either. RE: MSNBC Freaks Out That 'Deluded' Trump Supporters Refuse to Desert Him - bullet - 08-30-2018 03:49 PM I don't really expect it, but I do believe its possible the Republicans actually pick up a handful of seats in the House and the 9 in the Senate they need to get to 60. The reaction would be priceless. One 12 second tweet, no matter how cringe-worthy for many of us, and whatever vapid "point" they are/were trying to make- *poof* shegone. It's making them crazier and more extreme every day. Just look at some of our dear friends around here.

I have oleanders in my yard, no telling what they would be tempted to do. LOL |
