Starting things off with Kelvin Benjamin being an ass...

I caught Steve Smith's response to KB's comments in NFLN last night and I agree with Steve that you can't go after a qb when you haven't shown up to camp in shape yourself. And also your comments could throw some shade on your current QB you have with you on the Bills.

I agree that Cam isn't the most accurate passer in the world but his big game skills, run skills, and decent passing ability make him a complete unique threat in the NFL.

I bet this puts a little extra juice into the game Thursday.

TO stirring the pot as usual. Interesting play he made with that HoF speech

I hope Gordon can get his life together.

TO's stated reasoning for not attending the HOF doesn't hold much water for me. I think it ultimately was about money. You can't garner any bennies being a 3rd ballot HOF member the way you a 1st ballot. Also, teams usually sponsor an inductees HOF party and I'm confident that of the 5 teams he played on that he burnt the bridge of every one on his way out.

Too funny.....

Preseason or not, that Browns D was feasting on the Eagles tonight. Also, a nice 5-0 win for them.

I loved beating the Cowboys today and our D looked solid against them, however, the injuries we sustained have me concerned.

The Bears might have a pretty scary defense.....

DUDE, you are not kidding.

I can't believe how inept the Packers look when AR goes down. Seems like his making their coach look better than he actually is.

And then....

True story..... Aaron Rogers pulls that one out like that.... 04-jawdrop

I joined the "I'm not watching the NFL anymore" bandwagon last season. Can't say as I've missed it.

What I found hilarious was being in Twitter last night listening to Bear fans and Vi-Queen fans bloviating about the Packers and Packer fans only to go radio silent after the game.

The best part is another couple crushing losses like last night and all those 'die hard" Bear fans will be putting all those hats & jerseys back in the closet for another year.

Josh Gordon done.... maybe it was about time to call it and move on.

RE: 2018-19 NFL Thread - stever20 - 09-16-2018 03:11 PM

I just wonder with all these dumb ass roughing the passer calls if we may see defenders start if you're going to call it anyways, I'm going to really rough the passer. A horrible one in Green Bay totally changes the game.....

The Fish are 2-0!!!!

As a Cowboys fan I'm disappointed we did not trade for him.

As a Josh Gordon owner in both of my fantasy leagues I'm ecstatic he got traded to the Patriots.

Say what you want but this Jets Browns game has been thoroughly entertaining. Congrats to the Browns for getting it done!

I loved seeing the Pats get dumped by the Lions last night... But what is going on with the Steelers and the Buccs? Seems like total reversals of the teams compared to each's first two games.

My favorite part of the Steelers game:

Vance McDonald is a Rice alum, natch.

We won't talk about the other Rice alum playing for the Steelers...03-shhhh

RE: 2018-19 NFL Thread - Curumim - 09-26-2018 01:29 PM

They NEED to fix the roughing the passer rule or announce they are becoming a flag football league.

RE: 2018-19 NFL Thread - PirateTreasureNC - 09-30-2018 07:16 PM

The poor Browns. Completely owning Oakland all game till the 4th quarter and then choke it off into OT. Then with under 2m left in OT the Raiders get the winning field goal.

RE: 2018-19 NFL Thread - PirateTreasureNC - 10-07-2018 04:13 PM

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL

I heard Gano's 63 yarder won the game for the Panthers as I was wrapping up my shift. I can't believe the game got that close based on how the Giants have played this year but a W is a W.

https://www.nfl.com/scores

BROWNS WIN IN OT FOR A CHANGE... over the Ravens no less.... honestly they were due for a win considering how they have played so far.

Jets crush Broncos.... what up with the Broncos Igoe?

Chiefs CRUSH the Jags.... and what surprises me is the Jags defense doesn't usually allow that many points period.

Steelers CRUSH the Falcons... what is up with Atlanta?
