Is the first official game for soccer is Aug 17 against Texas? Also, are we picked to win Conf USA?

Yes...Home exhibition match against LSU on August 10th (after exhibition match at Lamar on August 8th) and first official game vs. Texas on August 17th.
Media day is next week so we should know then where the coaches will pick our finish in C-USA.
