His stated concerns, at least on that clip, are specific to privacy issues. Sen. Paul wants to explore with nominee Kavanaugh where he draws the line, Constitutionally, on forfeiture of privacy rights as a consequence of participating in modern commerce.
That strikes me as exactly the kind of inquiry that is appropriate from an "advise and consent" standpoint. Good for Sen. Paul.

Rand is asking the right questions, but he’ll end up doing what he normally does pretend to stand on principle and when push comes to shove back down. I probably agree with Rand more than I do any other GOP senator, but he doesn’t stick to his principles.
