A woman who was prepared to protect her kids. I know libs will say she shouldn't have had that gun in her car to protect her kids. I will say, way to go mom.

Police say the suspect got into the women's vehicle late Wednesday night in a gas station parking lot.
Police say the woman jumped in the vehicle and told the suspect to stop. When he did not, the woman pulled a gun from her glove box and shot the man once in the head. The vehicle then crashed into a telephone pole.
Police say the suspect was taken to a hospital and is in serious but stable condition.
Police say the women and her children were not injured in the incident.

Damn, how do you get shot in the head and survive? A pea sized brain? Good for Mom, she should get a medal but what she'll probably end up with is a massive bill from the lawyers who will have to defend her against a law suit from this scum bag or his family.

No need to assume. Articles in other publications say she was inside the station when she saw the man hop in. So she left the car unlocked with the keys inside? Glad she recovered, but let's not be crowning her as a beacon.

I reassess the situation. Yeah, if that is correct then she's not the sharpest tool in the shed. However, still no excuse for someone to try and steal the vehicle and still not reason for sympathy for the idiot that got shot in the head.
