First, Parkchester is not a bad area of The Bronx. But Yorktown Heights is a well-off area, so no, in neither event did she have a ‘hard-life’ and it appears it wasn’t even ‘in The Bronx.’ Having a father who is an architect and the CEO of a firm is not a ‘working class’ family.

She’s a different generation, but the feminist/left-wing author Susan Faludi also grew up in YH. It’s a small place so I’d be curious if they ever met.

I watched Bill Maher for the 1st time ever the other night (mainly to see Shapiro and laugh at Michael the Hut), and Maher called this girl "a rising star". The fools in the audience cheered. So glad I live in a district where she wouldn't get 10% of the vote if that.
