If this government in Iran can collapse, that would be awesome. Probably won't happen, but at least Iran is suffering since Trump ended the absolute treasonous deal Obama made with them.

But, I don't think the people of Iran are likely to fall to into complete chaos and a failed terror state like what happened in Libya, situations in Syria, Yemen, etc.
Look at the footage of those protests, have them chanting in English and it could look like they were in anywhere-ville Western nation.
They were a very westernized Country a generation or two ago. And if one thing is/was clear in watching some of these World Cup games in Russia, when they can get out of town they take quick advantage of living the life others are able to enjoy.
Our real beef has never been with the people of Iran, least not to my knowledge, but with the Fundy Mullahs and ruling jerks at the top.
My Dad traveled all over the world with his work and had many colleagues in Iran. A number even stayed in our house a night or two until they got settled into their place to stay for a few weeks. Always pleasant meeting them, never batted an eye.
It seems strange to say it now, but two of his "favorite" places where Iran and Pakistan. He kinda liked Afghanistan too (the mutton got old).
I've got a massive hookah on a shelf in my garage that he brought home from one of those places. Ha.
