Classy as always. I wish Tubby well at HPU. I'd love to see him build a team over the next 3-4 seasons, take them to an NCAA tourney, and ride off into the sunset as a winner.

I wish the guy the best. As a man, a mentor, and a coach, he's a classy individual. That being said, he's prideful and alienated a lot of valuable resources in Memphis doing things 'his way.' If it weren't for no help on the horizon from a recruiting standpoint, and for financial reasons, he'd still be the coach here.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that he punted the first season. Take out the vacations and lack of recruiting, just watch the games from season 1 compared to season 2. In his first season, the Tub sat on the bench and watched the games. He rarely even would call a timeout, just sit and watch. In season 2, atleast he was up on his feet and coaching. The difference is night and day. He punted season 1.

Tubby is a dick.
He held the University, the fans, and the basketball program hostage while he an his ingrates paraded around like they were hot **** all the while doing NOTHING to make the program better.
Tubby, Pooh, Saul, and Joe can all take a one way trip to **** off island as far as I am concerned.
Maybe Tubby's 3 fans can stowaway and live happily ever after.

That is what integrity looks like. Pooh is just honoring his contractual obligations and working hard for Memphis I'm sure. Why else would he have been in Dallas?

No details of the contract announced, I wonder why? I'm guessing it's 6 years, 9.75 million dollars.
