I have not heard anything but a lot of guys are banged up so it wouldn't surprise me.

Same story every year. It's an annual thing where we seemingly have more injured than healthy players.

Did they have a game last year? I know one year it really wasn't a game. I would just like to know. It's nice to head out there if it's a nice day and it's an actual game, even with restrictions on tackling, etc. Otherwise it's not worth it, and they should stop calling it a spring game if it isn't one.

I was told they are just doing a practice not even drafting teams . Just a regular practice to replace the practice they canceled last Sunday !!

Next Saturday is advertised as the Huskie Bowl game - not a practice. And there are events surrounding the game. They are building this up to be more than a practice.

They've done that before though. Advertise it as a "game" or "bowl" when it's just a glorified practice. I don't see the point of that, it just annoys the very people that you don't want to annoy.

I am just asking if anyone else has talked to the players as I have and are they saying it is back to a regular practice to replace the one they cancelled Sunday and that they are not even doing the traditional drafting of tams or anything !! Just passing along what the players have told me. And looking to confirm if anyone else has heard the same thing . I want to head out but not for a glorified practice

Doesn't sound like anyone has heard anything. I am with you, I don't want to head out for a glorified practice. I don't have any contacts so I have no idea what they're doing.

All I can say is from what i hear if you head out looking for a tackle football game on the 4/28 you will be vert disappointed!!! confirmed it again today unless carey has a huge change of heart

The team is already pretty banged up. I can understand it if there's no tackling. Makes for a boring practice, but why risk more injuries?
