As I have said here countless times before, the brainwashed minions in the SEC and the rest of the so-called P5 - as well as the mother hen of the swamp itself (ESPN) are as obsessed with UCF as John Hinckley was with Jodie Foster - and twice as disturbing.
Check that. They are as obsessed with UCF as the Manson Family was with Sharon Tate. And are probably willing to go just as far.

Let us preface the following: It sucks to be a non-major collegiate football program. The NCAA—an organization so corrupt you'd think Boss Tweed was running the show—and the College Football Playoffs are ridiculously tilted, and beholden, towards the big conferences, to the point it renders existence moot to those on the game's outskirts. It truly, sincerely does not matter what you do: if you're not in the "Power Five," you ain't getting to the semifinals. The setup is an abomination, and goes against the very principles of meritocracy inherent to sports.
When your opponents in favor of the status quo write this------you know you are starting to win the battle of public opinion.

I think it's absolutely killer if for nothing more than to keep the narrative of the unfair collusion of the "P5" in the public consciousness. UCF should keep it going all the way through the season.
