Absolutely agree. Who knows if it’ll result in wins on the floor but making the program a place that kids want to be at is definitely the way to brand it. Memphis will soon be a destination again similar to the way Cal made it. Whether some of us like it or not, that’s how college basketball is now. Every kid thinks they’re gonna play at the next level, and we’ve got a two headed monster that can get them here and show them the way.

Also love how both Penny and Mike are doing literally every interview known to man. They don’t have to. But a perception that both are working tirelessly goes a long long way to a fan base. Something the previous regime never fully understood.
