I think Georgia should be a good job if they start taking basketball seriously. With all the talent in the Atlanta area there is no reason they shouldn't do well in the SEC. Especially with Georgia Tech appearing to be down, they should really capitalize on this opportunity.

Only problem with Matta is he doesn't play the AAU game. That might make it more difficult in getting top talent out of Atlanta. Great coach, though, and would be a terrific hire if he's healthy.

Would buck the trend of SEC hiring...they have gone for the big hits in recent years in places like Alabama, Auburn, Mississippi State and Tennessee.
SEC seems to have gone away from the up and comer from a smaller conference.
