The awards were voted on by the league’s 12 head coaches. The conference's Defensive Player of the Year, Most Improved Player, Sixth Man of the Year, Sportsmanship Award and Team Academic Award will be announced on Tuesday. The American Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Scholar-Athlete of the Year and Coach of the Year will be announced on Wednesday, March 7.

Defensive Player of the Year - Gary Clark
Most Improved Player - Shaquille Morris
Sixth Man of the Year - Armoni Brooks or Cane Broome
American Player of the Year - Gary Clark
Rookie of the Year - Shawn Williams
Coach of the Year - 1) Frank Haith 2) Kelvin Sampson 3) Mick

That first team is actually a real basketball team. Usually its just a bunch of guards. I would take that lineup over jiat about any conference’s.

That would be a really awesome tournament idea. After the NCAAs, all leagues send their 1st/2nd teams as All Stars and play for charity or money for the league. Who wouldn't watch that. Never would happen, but it would be pretty awesome.

Thank you for sharing that. I doubt the people who vote pay attention, but that certainly looks impressive. Certainly wouldn't hurt the school/fans/conference to campaign for him.
