I'm happy for all these guys. They put on my schools uniform and play hard, they've earned my respect and loyalty.

Agreed. Great to see the guys responding. Totally different feel than the tail end of last season, that's for sure. I'm not sure Malik would've been given a chance to get out of the dog house with Josh. This team needs all hands on deck, and they're coming through.

A lot to be said for guys that constantly hear and read how bad they all are and how non-Memphis good they are but they keep coming out and fighting every game to try and get wins.
I know we still have a long way to go before we start contending for the league and NCAA berths again but these guys are far better than what I saw early in the year.
So many begged for the Lawsons and Markel back but those guys are quitters and went down in a blaze, I'll take these scrappy kids any day!!

He has stepped up and made positive contributions and I am happy for him, his teammates, and (of course) Tiger fans. Winning has a way of surrounding everything in a warm glow.
