Warren Nolan has Rice at #23. But yes, way too early. http://warrennolan.com/baseball/2018/rpi-live RE: Baseball ranking Feb 19, 2018 - junrice - 02-19-2018 08:42 PM My bad, didn't notice the date. RE: Baseball ranking Feb 19, 2018 - Antarius - 02-19-2018 09:18 PM Massey has us at 37. Stanford will be a test. Massey has them at 4 after sweeping CS Fullerton and beating UC Davis. RE: Baseball ranking Feb 19, 2018 - waltgreenberg - 02-19-2018 09:37 PM Don't have the link because I was traveling today from Orlando to Redwood City, CA, but D1Baseball included and "power ranking" of the hardest throwing pitchers the first weekend, and Garrett Gayle clocked in at a tie for third fastest at 97 MPH. Someone clocked in at 100, and another at 98. I got recruited to do some rewiring and furniture construction at my parents house. For those coming out, dress for winter. It's really cold out here, and that's coming from a guy currently living in Chicago. I was expecting it to drop to the high 40s at night and mid-50s during the day, but they're now forecasting 5 - 10 degrees colder than that through the weekend. The night games on Thursday and Friday are going to be seriously chilly...and remember, the Sunken Diamond is "sunken", and that makes it even colder. Learned my lesson after the Thanksgiving debacle of 2016 where I landed in Shanghai in a T shirt, shorts and flip flops to encounter 32 degrees outside. Orlando to Redwood City.. MCO-LAX-SFO? MCO-DFW-SFO/SJC? RE: Baseball ranking Feb 19, 2018 - waltgreenberg - 02-19-2018 11:39 PM A couple Rice-related questions/posts in today's D1Baseball chat... Quote:Comment From Ben Content Quote:Comment From Alan Note: Yes, Stitchhead Sorenson will be there and, in fact, he's been invited to attend the team dinner on Wednesday evening. He's a huge Tanya and Wayne fan. So, back to back weekends we'll get good national coverage. Yep. Weather.com predicts the Thursday and Friday lows for Palo Alto to be 38 degrees. Fortunately for the games' sakes, our much-needed rain isn't supposed to return until Monday. It's been more than three weeks since we've had ANY rain in the Bay Area. And this is our seasonal rainy season. |
