Saturday should be a great event with honoring Bill Chambers. Lefty Driesell, among many others, coming to do the tribute.
I may have misunderstood, but it, also, sounded like they are doing a Game of Thrones contest which should bode well for a big student turnout.

Individual Stats show each starter in in the TOP 50 for the NATION in at least one category!! Here they are:
Conner Burchfield continues to LEAD THE NATION 3 point shoot percentage
David Cohn ranks 13th in assists per game
Matt Milon 27th in 3 point percentage
David Cohn 33rd in FT percentage
Nathan Knight 35th on Blocks per game

Hopefully there will be at least one coed dressed as Daenerys in the stands today! Or Cersei. Maybe BOTH!

Little surprised there has not been more concrete publicity about it, since I think we'd all agree this is of much more stature than the usual halftime recognitions. Yeah, it's today, with lots of W&M "names" coming. Aa I understand it, a Bill Chambers basketball endowed scholarship will also be announced during the presentation.
Charlie worked very hard to get that done. Should be nice.

I am pumped for this one. Every team is a tough out in conference this year but if we play well we should win. If we can run up a lead it will be a great confidence booster going into the home stretch.

A lot of "names" coming, eh?
In the past, all the "names" we're trotted out and introduced as a group ... had no idea who was who.
I pray that folks are individually announced today ... that would be nice and a sign things are changing.

Jay and Charlie have talked about it at halftime a couple of times, but it wouldn't be hard to miss. We really haven't publicized it enough. Having an NCAA single game record holder as an alum is a big deal, especially in a primary statistic. The basketball alumni have donated for a scholarship in Bill Chambers' name, which will be officially announced at the ceremony. Charlie's been talking about that as well on broadcasts.

My understanding is that this will happen, but I can't remember where I heard that.

I have to confess that I watch with the sound off / will watch the stats on the computer.
Nothing against the radio crew ... but I get so worked up and am trying to avoid a stroke as I get older!
Of course, when the game is in hand, I'll turn the audio on, but then the Elon second half happens, and boom...sound goes off!

Glad to know that I am the only one who can't handle the audio unless the game is in hand or I'm watching it the day after.
Again, nothing against the broadcast crew but it does help the blood pressure.
