We will need Haynes and/or Caver to have a big game to win. Both came up short against WKU and we all know the result. I expect Caver to show up big this go round - and Haynes will pull his weight. If not - WKU result again - regardless of a big game by BJ.

IF we bring the same team approach with all of our talent willing to attack, we'll win. Once we become individuals with some guys ball watching, we're going to lose. But I think this squad is confident and is ready to do something

I know 1 game at a time, but this is the real season now. If we hold serve at home and split on the road, we should finish 1 or 2 seed.

With us and Marshall in the other semifinal. Would be nice to send them out this year.

I would not discount UAB or La Tech

What's good is all of our higher RPI teams are starting to cluster at the top. Helps our own RPI out in the end.

Ah, the boards are back. Went down last night, and George Mason lost. Coincidence? :)

Huge weekend coming up. With UAB's loss last night, a sweep this weekend would nearly guarantee a top 4 finish. Step 1 accomplished.

Also, it's nice to have a meaningful gsme in February.

Win this we go from having a great season to special season. And I think we do win. The defense will be there, gotta stay out of foul trouble, hit foul shots and shoot a decent percentage. I'm seeing something like 67-62 Monarch victory.

That would be huge for our chances but at least top 3. The four seed gets a bye but will likely have to play the 5 seed, Id rather not have to beat UAB or Marshall before being able to play WKU/MT

We need to have the killer instinct of a shark or a Viking to win these big games. We have not displayed this yet hopefully the time is now.

To beat MTSU we have to play the perfect game. That is how they are built. keys to a win are as follows:
1) bigs must stay out of foul trouble
2) we have to neutralize Giddy
3) no lapses is scoring which will be a tough ask against MTSU
4) 50/50 balls must go our way

They will score and defend. We will defend, but can we score. The place were we have an advantage is BJ. Can he carry the load for us offensively ?
