I suppose that, if we are still in the running for Painter, we would need to hear something between 12/21 (end of Villanova fall semester) and 01/16 (beginning of W&M spring classes). And I guess closer to the latter date since admissions office will want an updated transcript.

Painter announced that he is going to Delaware

Lost in the news was the playing of the Tribe Transfer Championship.

Greg Makinowski's Hoyas beat Hunter Seacat's Mountaineers 83-73. Hunter had 10 and 6. Greg finished with 11 points.

Malinowski on playing his former teammate Hunter Seacat: "That's the first time I've seen him since we left William & Mary. We keep in touch here and there...definitely cool to play against a former teammate."

Also, Northeastern received a waiver from the NCAA that allows Santa Clara transfer Shaquille Walters immediate eligibility - does not need to sit out this season.

Walker will transfer to Radford.

Malinowski played really well in getting the start for Georgetown today (Mac McClung with an ankle injury). 9 points, 8 rebs, 5 assists, 3 steals. Looked mature and comfortable on the floor with a lot of hustle. His defense has improved greatly.

David Schneider’s brother Bryce announced on Twitter that he is transferring from Richmond.

Jacob Eyman is transferring from Seattle and Yagizhan Selcuk is transferring from Towson. Both were forwards that the coaches were looking at before Harvey committed last year.

Good thing he's not in W'burg his senior year. That production would just get in our way.

If he stayed, wouldn’t last year have been his senior year at WM? If so, that makes me feel a little better about some of his success this year...

It looks like the year off helped him get completely healthy. I just hope the Hoyas don't make it to the Big dance this season.
