Evidently they didn't get the memo from the other (The "Season" thread)... The AAC is terrible and is only supposed to get two teams in this year. So...two of those have to go.

We are dangerously close to being a 3-bid league. And if we didn't have Wichita State, we would be dangerously close to being a 2-bid league. SMU, UCF (mostly due to injuries), Temple, and UConn have all been disappointing. I don't think the AAC is a bad basketball league by any means, but the inability of these teams to beat lesser conference foes coupled with some bad out-of-conference losses is a bit alarming. I was hoping for 4, maybe 5 bids this year. We might still get 4, but nothing I'm seeing this year changes the fact that I am very disappointed with the basketball in this league since its inception.

Amurican bids per year:
4 - 2014
2 - 2015
4 - 2016
2 - 2017
So according to this trends matrix we will be a 4 bid league this year.

looks like the data is old on this too, or off
the matrix shows TR saying florida's not in it, but TR has them as a 6 seed.
the matrix shows bracketodds having us as an 8, but they have us as a 7.
