Cincinnati Bearcats
The Bearcats are balanced, with no standout scorers or go-to guys that can be targeted. Cincinnati has a bunch of really good players who can each go for 20 on a given night. This is an unselfish team that will find the open man. Not every team does that. Cincinnati leads the American in field goal percentage defense and is second to Wichita State in rebounding, always staples of the Bearcats' program. The difference is that this team can score.

Whether Jay penned this--or a member of his staff prepared it, I think it's right on point about this Bearcat team. If Evans and Clark continue at their current level of play and Cumberland returns to his past proficiency in scoring, this team gets really good. Second weekend in March good. Or better.

Well he may be right sooner than later if we take care of business this weekend.
#8 and #13 lost last night.
X sits at #10 and plays at #1 Nova tonight. Of course that is the type of game that they will play out of their minds in...

Let's prove him right that we're a top 10 team, and win the conference. Last year we lost the championship to a first year head coach who used only 6 scholarship players in the game.
Wichita State has never played a conference schedule remotely on AAC level; even a terribad UConn squad had them on the ropes. It's time to win the championship and make no more excuses.

SMU was better than UC last year. Not going to go nuts that we lost the conference to them by 1 game and made the conference tournament finals. That SMU was really good.
That said...I agree, lets go get it.

Read this morning that xu is 0-4 at Villanova since the conference change, and overall 5-24. Hopefully they get curb stomped big time. Need something to cheer me up tonight.
