You guys and gals are great. Love posting on this Board. I feel like I've known many of you for a long time even though I've never met you in person. Everyone please have a wonderful and SAFE New Year's Eve! I hope and pray that 2017 was a good year for you and that 2018 will be even better! Any New Year's Resolutions? Any of you make a special cocktail to celebrate? How about any traditions like pork and kraut?

My advice from youthful experience, don't drink more than two of these in a public establishment. It's a "creeper" drink: by the time you realize you've got a buzz it hits you under the chin and you're buh-bye.

Advice: take turns between alcoholic beverages and glasses of water. Less chance of a hangover and being stupid drunk.
Traditions: spouse always eats herring in cream sauce for good luck. (I don't it grosses me out.)
Always have champagne a midnight.
Here's to UC Basketball winning the AAC and making it to the second weekend of the NCAAs, and a bowl game for football.

We are having a southern cuisine New Year's Day meal. My wife is cooking a ham with turnip greens and black eyed peas. Have to admit, I'm also craving my German-Ohio born roots' pork tenderloin, mashed taters and kraut. Oh, lots of kraut thank you very much.
