The Huskies defense will show up to play. Duke will have game planned for Sutton Smith, but the rest of the defense will make up for it. The offense will struggle most of the game but will have a few good drives. Carey has the team pumped up and the Huskies break the bowl streak.

NIU lays an egg in another bowl game. The defense will show up but won’t be able to withstand the short field and lack of possession by the offense. Jones will get double the carries of Harbison. Duke 27, NIU 13

Thanks for the hospitality the past couple of weeks. I've very much enjoyed reading your board and posting a few times. I'll be sure and pop back in after the game, win or lose, with some game observations. Hopefully, we will all enjoy a competitive, clean, injury free Quick Lane Bowl.
I'm predicting a big game for senior running back Shaun Wilson (#29) and sophomore quarterback Daniel Jones (#17) on offense, and for senior defensive tackle Mike Ramsay (#99), sophomore linebacker Joe Giles-Harris (#44) and sophomore cornerback Mark Gilbert (#28) on defense.

My big concern is NIU having a big play (or two) in the punt game. We will be using a punter who has never punted in a FBS game plus our punt returners have struggled fielding the ball all season.

Yep, c'mon back after the game. If it's another massacre you will have to tread lightly as this board will light up like the 4th of July.
My prediction above is what I am hoping for. More likely 34-17 Duke but hopefully I am wrong.
