In terms of the fan base there were plenty of people that wanted to find the best coach (including moral compass) that we could hire because that’s what you’re supposed to do. A “National search” that ends up with 2 out 3 finalists being holdovers from the last staff is a sham. The players deserve better. Don’t tell recruits we’re committed to excellence when we’re really not.

Finally a fan that realizes the whole thing was a sham and that applewhite should never have gotten the job.
Its refreshing to see a houston sports fan not make excuses for pathetic play and try to explain it away.

Lets keep in mind he was hurt last offseason and has never spent a full spring and summer taking reps at QB since being at UH. I think 9-10 wins is definitely possible next season.

Well guys, the Cougars were close. Very damn close. Despite everything that happened. The best that the MWC can do is to send arguably their best team and get by on the skin of their teeth to a middle tier AAC team.
