My memories are pretty good ones. At the time, it was our first bowl game in seven years, and only the second bowl game in the previous 15 seasons. Back then just having a winning season was something to get excited about.

Since that time we've gone to 12 bowls in the last 15 seasons, so the Hawaii Bowl isn't quite as sexy now as it was at that time in our history.

But the game itself was great. An exciting finish to put us into OT, and while we did eventually lose in 3 OT, we can claim a win in the fight at the end, right?

We're not playing the Rainbow Warriors this time, so maybe there will be less animosity in the stands and on the field.

To me any bowl game we lose is a bad memory. Don’t get me wrong i was really happy when we made one, but don’t expect me to want to remember losing a bowl game that we should have won. There is not claiming to win, we lost end of story.

I hear you, but I am not heartbroken over the outcome. It's a loss...a bowl loss. But it was an exciting game and an exciting time to be a Coog fan.
