It's a really bad match-up for UAB. Auburn is a lot like ODU in the front court but with more shooters. UAB struggles with long, physical forwards (see the Cayman's teams).

Well Nick and Darling could get hot, and Zack could get the quick drive and William could post and shoot and Chris could play in and out on offense and well Zac could scoop the misses. And we could play the timeouts and fouls, if they that damn good. And Rotate in and out with inbounds of those other two bigs. Well Dang, It should be interesting.

Wiley is not a lottery pick. Even if he had a good year, he might have gotten selected late first round.

If he doesn't play this year, he falls to the 2nd round probably.

Big enough to cause Coke problems but not lottery pick good.
And their starting transfer, the 6-4 guy. He is a power forward. AU has a couple of guys whose job it will be to get under cokes skin and then their shot blocking guy will be there when Coke does get some shots off.
So, its going to be a tough game. But that's what makes winning so sweet.

Gene often seemed to come up with magic in big games. So far, Rob hasn't shown that ability. Yet.
Tomorrow would be a good time to start.

I wonder why Wiley and Purifoy haven't left school to go play in Europe this year. That would get them more prepared and more exposure to get ready for the draft than sitting out. Surely they see the handwriting on the wall at this point.

They have classes they have to complete. 03-lmfao

While I agree I also respect the fact that they have have hung around to support their teammates (read our Auburn Q&A). I think if this isn't all resolved by January they will leave.

Well, Sexton got back on the court so maybe they still think its possible they will too?
If not, maybe both of them and Pearl go out at once.
Or maybe if they can't get a smoking gun on Pearl, they let him stay on because he has sold a ton of tickets and built quite the player payroll.
If they were to fire him without a smoking gun, they are going to owe him a ton and it would gut the program. (Having to play by the rules and all)

Auburn is still naive to think that either of them will ever step on the court at Auburn again.

It is just an effort to save face from having to automatically dismiss them.

Judging from the comments of the two Auburn threads I hope we can stay within 40. We should opt out of the game next year and just be a buy game for them.

We certainly shouldn’t schedule them again if we are going to go 0-4 against them. Embarrassing
