We should have bribed the guy operating the wrecking ball to "accidentally" take out the scoreboard as well.

Also, if you zoom in close enough, you can see a few of our ODU CSNBBS posters sneeking in and running off with pieces of the stadium. lol

No more Foreman Field at S.B. Ballard Stadium. It will now just be S.B. Ballard Stadium. May sell naming rights to field in the future though. per an article from Ed.

Hope thru common usage we drop the S. B. part and just go with Ballard Stadium

I agree but when they are putting "Foreman Field" on the east entrance people are still going to call it foreman field

Are these cameras supposed to be real time ? or just time lapse photos? Having trouble making sense of the time stamps and why nothing is current.

At this moment, they're taking photos periodically from 3 different positions with each having 2 different angles.

You can change the date and time to see the progress or watch it as a time lapse.

If you're having issues, I've had the best luck with chrome.

I hope you guys are as excited about this as I am. Since I work in construction, I don't think I have been this excited about something at ODU in a long time. It's really awesome to see how fast Ballard as mobilized and started the demo. I was onsite today and was able to snag a couple bricks from the East side as they were doing the demo. I thought I would let everyone know that it sounds like they are arranging a location not too far from campus where they are going to drop a load of bricks from the stadium for people to go pick some up. It's still unknown when and where, but hopefully some of you close to the program might be able to get some more details.

Im pretty excited for Phase 1 but I will be more excited for Phase II when the north endzone is complete. Getting to 30k is a must to compete for recruits in FBS. 21k is still small time.

EDIT: I also work in construction and enjoyed seeing the small progress during the season. Seeing the video last night of the excavator tearing down the east shell was bittersweet but it got me excited for the new digs

still can't believe an upgrade to the home locker room isn't a part of the reno giving that the entire team can't fit in one room.

Looking at the cams. On the 17th at 5pm or so was the band practicing with green LED's? Maybe some cool stuff in store for next season?

More than likely practicing for the Grand Illumination parade.
