I believe Minium had said thebanners were going to be installed. Maybe they just haven't gotten to them. Has anyone heard definitively we are NOT getting the banners?

Someone earlier (supposedly in the know) confirmed the banners were still coming. It would be a terrible shame not to “put the icing on the cake” so to speak. I mean how much could they cost? $5k? Even if it’s $10,000 it would be worth it.

Here is what I was told before the first game - There would be no banners b/c there was no money for them. They tried to find a donor or sponsors and failed so that was it. Then I was told as the stadium opened they finally found someone who would/did donate some money for them. So they had to be procured, produced (I was told to put the images on etc. takes time) shipped, and finally put up on the stadium. Alas, I did not think to ask how long all this would take but I am guessing longer than the 4 weeks we have had. I was also told as individual banners were finished they would be mounted so we will have some up and some to come at some point this Fall. Finally, they do not have enough money to put them everywhere they had hoped so if you have several $10s of thousands of dollars give, please ODAF a call. They will be happy to hear from you. Now go ODU and beat the Pirates.

Well among other things they have to be hurricane proof so you don't have to scramble with putting them up and taking them down for various storms. Then applying the images so they will be permanent was pricey and ODU wanted ODU specific images. All that said it seemed high to me too but it is what I was told.

Is it just me, or did all of the food today suck? I mean I wasn't a fan of it at the NSU game, but I figured first game kinks.. so I gave it another try.
Burgers tasted like = cardboard
Fries = disgusting
Pulled pork sandwich = burnt to hell
I remember seeing something a while ago about crabcakes being available at the stadium. Not sure if I misread that or if it was a one time thing... but something at the stadium has to be decent right?
