They are trying to install the crown logo as well as stadium name signage on the outside of the press box but it looks like mother nature picked a wrong time to intervene in the form of rain.

So"soft opening " will be Norfolk State with Grand opening against ECU. They have a ton to do just to get ready for NSU. Has the sound system even been tested?

A soft opening is a retail term for a new business to open without advertising it. This allows them to work out the kinks by serving a small number of customers before announcing their Grand Opening.
Obviously this is not the exact situation for ODU, but the point remains. NSU will be the first time all of the systems will get a live run thru. By ECU most of the kinks should be worked out.

Not really. That might be the default mode of that LED Strip. If you notice the colors of the ceiling in the presidential suite, it keeps changing color and if I have to guess they might put that external strip in sync with the internal one to keep the theme same everywhere.

They are just setting it up and that might have been the default color mode on the strip. I am sure they are not gonna go with neon green all the time esp since its not our school color. You have to wait until they are done to see what it will be.

Food looks great. Someone was smart to use ODU colors in the paper for the baskets. And it looks like we may get ODU branded cups with beverage purchases too. That stuff makes a difference. Good job someone.
