Every State and Federal Government employee - Dasville - 11-30-2017 10:41 AM

Should have their hourly wage posted! How much does a Senator make per hour? How many hours do they work per day? What do they define as work? How many "off" days do they get?

Government work should be characterized the same as the Public sector!

In North Carolina you can look up any state employee's salary.

I don't know of a federal database, but NC state employees are typically expected to work 40 hours/week.

Federal?

I'm pretty sure you can find that information if you're interested. It's not going to say John Smith makes XXXXX amount, but all military compensation rates and federal pay categories are public, arent they?

Actually it will tell you how much John Smith makes:

https://www.fedsdatacenter.com/federal-pay-rates/

There are 83 John Smith's working for Uncle Sam, making between $221,751.00 as a medical officer and $24,000.50 as a custodial worker, both for the Department of Veterans Affairs.

If I am paying employees, I should know what I am paying them and what I expect them to accomplish! I'm not talking benefits. That's a separate question. Every job has hours. I want to know required hours for every Government employee (both local and Federal). Job requirement = Job Pay per hour. This issue needs to be addressed!

I am not paying people not to work.
Failure to work is not work.

You can find that out, look at the post right above this one I'm replying to.

Chuck and Nancy should be docked some pay. ALL Goverment should be paid hourly.

Punch in. Punch out.

What you do on your free time is your business.

It's a job.

Time to start treating them like one!

There should be a labor standard attached to each position!

Goverment is much to wildly nilly.

NO finish line!
