First round of the FCS playoffs kicks off tomorrow.
For anyone with Verizon FIOS and the sports pass, the ESPN3 feeds get picked up on your ESPN College Sports Extra channels (821 - 828 for me in Richmond).
Game times (EST) are as follows:
Furman at Elon - 1pm
Lehigh at Sronybrook - 2pm
CCS at UNH - 2pm
Samford at Kennesaw State - 2pm
Western Illinois at Weber State - 4pm
South Dakota at Nicholls State - 4pm
Monmouth at UNI - 5pm
San Diego at Northern Arizona - 8pm
Should be an interesting day of football.

WIU and Weber State is probably going to be the most interesting game of the day. I’d root for Weber personally, since they’re the far less threatening team and are on our side of the bracket.
Five games are virtually guaranteed to be blowouts and another two wouldn’t surprise me if they were.

I heard a wild rumor that SB's QB may be suspended for the Lehigh game. On top of that, Stacey Bedell (1st team All-CAA RB) is apparently banged up. Even if both don't play I doubt it affects the outcome other than margin of victory.

Do you have a news sources confirming it? Additionally, if true, that’ll level the playing field for Lehigh but I want Sb to win. It helps the caa sos argument, even if Lehigh would be the easier of the two opponents to face.

Sure you are not mixing them up with Central Connecticut whose QB is definitely suspended?

Yeah, it's Stony Brook. I'm not sure it is 100% true in the first place and sounded at the time like a final decision hadn't been made. Probably won't know until the offense goes out for the first time.
Couple confirmed things are their 1st Team All-CAA WR Ray Bolden has been ruled out (injury) and 3rd Team All-CAA LB Tyrice Beverette will miss the first half due to a targeting call in the 2nd half of the Maine game.

Tech beats UVA for the 14th time in a row. 10-0 final. A Virginia player lost their cool in the 4th quarter and shoved an official, getting tossed from the game.

I really do not call that a rivalry game wise any more. Though off the field maybe....It is so lopsided, how can it be a rivalry.

I know they play @ different level, but I believe Schor is a better QB then Benkhert. Benkhert does not impress me & is inconsistent. I also believe the Dukes could give UVA all they could handle & even beat them.
Good thing Bronco is intact there @ least another year or two, or MH may be on UVA's short list.

He just got them to a bowl game for the first time in forever. He’s safe for five years minimum.

Was thinking the same thing. I somehow doubt anyone in Charlottesville is saying it'd be a good idea to hire a successful FCS coach from down the road.
For the record, I think HCMH could coach, and be successful, at UVA or just about anywhere. But UVA isn't doing that again any day soon, I can assure you.
