I'm just guessing about bowl match ups, but the original purpose of bowl games was to allow teams that could not play in the regular season (due to travel time by bus or train) to meet in a warm clime during the holidays. I would guess that UAB will be paired against a team from a distance, maybe even as far as California. In any event, we will know our opponent in a couple of weeks -- on the Bowl Selection Sunday following the conference championship games on the Saturday before it.

We came away with no injuries right and the readiness to finish the season and get to a Bowl Game right. Thought they would be good (UF). Not to Many teams can walk into a SEC Battle and skate out unbruised it happens about once a year if lucky and Troy took that spot. If Lucky. Hope the team came out enlightened and ready for a week of practice and one more home game and a trip for rewards. Go Blazers cheering for 8 & 4. That would be great. Think the team and coaches have done an excellent job and realize the 1.5 and get ready to play again. Perhaps. They normally don't pay 1.5 to lose.
