I'm with the volleyball team in Oxford.
Last night they came from behind (0-2) to beat CMU (3-2).
Tonight was the same story against Ball State.

Those had to be fun matches to be at. I watched last night's on ESPN3 and it was intense. Impressive comebacks!
Coach Munson has built a great program that's competitive year in and year out. Here's hoping the Broncos can win two more.

The results were great. I couldn't take how close they were. After they were down two sets I made my way to the entrance where the buses were parked and when they were down 13-15 I went to start the bus up. After a while of no one coming out, I went back in and it was the 4th set. it was late in the 4th set the Broncos were down again so I went to start the bus up again. Then after a while of no one coming out again I went in again, it as 2-4 in the 5th set. When it was 9-11 BSU I went back out to start the bus again. I was surprised and extremely happy when the BGSU driver came out and said we won.

It's Championship Game Day!
First serve between #6 WMU and #1 Miami is at 4:30 pm. The match will be broadcast on ESPN 3 from Millet Hall on the campus of Miami University!
The Broncos are playing loose, having fun and enjoying this run. They are so fun to watch. The bench dances during timeouts and challenge reviews. The other day they had a game of leap frog during a time out. The more fun they have their opponents actually begin to tighten up even more.
Today's match is a tall task to come out on the victorious side. Miami is a solid team. With that said, there is only one thing left to say...

I watched much of the match last night, but every time I started to watch we started to play poorly, so I took one for the team and stopped watching, with just occasional check ins so I knew the score.
This is a big day for bronco sports, with the soccer team having its first game in the NCAA tournament. Hope it is a good day.

Miami will be a tough out in the NCAA tournament. Being fundamentally sound and not beating yourself is important this time of year and it has both factors in its favor.

Miami was too strong for Western. Disappointing 3-0 loss.
If you look at Miami's roster they have plenty of Michigan talent, including several girls from Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids. Are we getting out-recruited in our own backyard?

Yes. It's been going on for a while. Girls from the area, Battle Creek included, have been enticed away to other programs like Virginia Tech and Michigan State in recent years. Chicagoland and northern Indiana is a decent recruiting base, but the local talent that's good enough will go elsewhere to better programs with better prospects for success.
